Our Best and Our Brightest

and a Few Terrorists to boot.

Stretched thin by the $12 billion/month occupation of Iraq, the US military has been forced to up the quota of convicted terrorists allowed to become their own Army of One.

Washington (CNN) -- Recruits were allowed to enlist after having been convicted of crimes including assault, burglary, drug possession and making terrorist threats.

The statistics were released by Rep. Henry Waxman, a California Democrat who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
