Tony Starlight

redux

We had a nice night out with the fam taking in dinner and a show at Tony Starlight's supper club and lounge.

"With a grand piano, roving spot light and vintage photos, the new Tony Starlight's Supperclub-Lounge is like an elegant kind of old Hollywood club, only without the smoke. Which makes it the fitting business to take over the triangular lot at 37th & Sandy that is the gateway to Portland's Historic Hollywood District."

This was our second time taking in Tony's AM GOLD 70's SHOW. We caught the debut of this show last month. It was a hoot and a nanny and groovy to boot! (I'm a little bit country... I'm a little bit 70's gold!) With his band, we were treated to an evening of smooth tunes from the AM dial; Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, Tony Orlando, Engelbert Humperdink and super hits like "Alone Again, Naturally", "Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)" and "Hey, Won't You Play Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song."
